What is the contracting process like at One8?

It’s actually really simple, the only thing you need to do in order to get started is to fill out the online application form, wait 24 hours for your approval, and then take part in the in-person orientation session.

What are the minimum requirements to become a driver at One8?

The only requirements we have are the following: Be over 23 years of age Have more than 12 months of driving experience Have a truck that is compliant with the ELD Do not have any drug or alcohol violations for the last 5 years.

What is the company culture like at One8?

Our most important asset is being a driver-friendly company, our culture focuses on truckers and their needs. We also have our operators as the top priority, always going above and beyond to meet their needs and expectations.

Where is One8 located?

We currently have two terminals. One in El Paso, TX and in Batavia, IL.

How many days does the One8 orientation last?

It could take a day or two.

How often can I expect One8 to pay me?

Every Friday morning through direct bank deposit.

What type of freight does One8 haul?

We focus on food grade and light industrial hauls.

Where does One8 run?

Primarily on the Southwest and Midwest, but there are other routes available.

What kind of equipment does One8 run?

The majority of the equipment is 53’ refrigerated and dry vans.

How does One8 optimize drivers' income potential?

We try to pre-plan as many loads as possible in order to reduce waiting times for drivers.

What is the average length of a haul at One8?

Our average length of haul is 1,000 miles.

What equipment do I need to get started on One8?

Nothing besides your truck, we provide everything else you may need.

What do I need to get started with One8 Freight?

You don’t need much! Just meet our driver requirements and get ready to drive. We provide the trailers and insurance options if you don’t have one.
